A sociable, outdoor-loving family in South London with two young girls and their beloved cockerpoo, Sonny.

They requested room to relax, storage space and beautiful plants. Their home had recently been re-designed and their colourful, fun-loving style was very evident in the house. I wanted to reflect that in the garden and its plants.

The design extends the existing paving and adds a gravel path to lead you to the rear patio, which becomes cosier with a wrap-around pergola.

The girls loved the idea of their own 'snug’ and Sonny got his own shower area by the back gate for muddy paw-washing after wet walks in the woods.
